Online Sales Policies

Shipping Policy

Warranty issues and manufacturer restrictions prevent us from shipping certain products to all geographical locations. In addition, some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a street address. You will be notified after placing your order if we’re unable to ship specific items to the address you’ve selected.

You will be notified If an item you have ordered is not in stock and we are unable to source it to you in the requested timeframe.

Only specific shipping options may be available for some addresses. Available shipping options will appear at checkout when you enter a shipping address.

Orders placed after 1:00 pm Monday-Friday EST will be processed and shipped within 48 hours.

General Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by wimsattdirect.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll pay the return shipping costs and waive restock fees if the return is a result of our error. Items should be returned in their original product packaging. Contact us via phone (800.497.9000) or email (mail@wimsattdirect.com) and we will coordinate your return.

Material Returns

All returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date, accompanied by a sales receipt. All returns are subject to the following conditions: Returned Material must be saleable. The following materials CANNOT be returned: ANY Special Order Material, Fiber Cement Siding & Trim, Engineered Wood Siding & Trim, PVC Siding, Trim, and Moulding, Manufactured Stone, Mortar and Cement, Composite Decking & Railing, Copper Sheets, Tools. There is a handling/restocking charge of 15% for materials returned to our warehouse. There is a handling/restocking charge of 25% and a $45.00 trip charge for materials picked up by Wimsatt.  $300 minimum on returns to qualify for jobsite pickup (Michigan/Toledo-area customers only).

Receiving a Refund

For items directed to our Returns Center, expect your refund within 4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you’ll receive the refund sooner).

This time period includes: 5 to 10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper, 3 to 5 business days for us to process your return, The time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines). We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. Refunds for orders paid by credit/debit card will be refunded back to the original card that they were paid by. Refunds under $5.00 will not be issued.  Any credit can be used toward a same day purchase. Any returned checks will be charged a $50 fee.
